Blue doors. Roses. Ancient stone. We were pretty much in heaven in the French countryside in early June.Serendipity in the form of a small local guidebook led us to a private garden gem on our way to Mont Saint Michel.

I adore the pinks and greens in these photos. How I long for a garden filled with boxwood and roses. Hydrangea's and Peonies. Cleome and brilliant zinniea's. Waterfalls and armillaria. *sigh*
