French Country Summer

Blue doors. Roses. Ancient stone. We were pretty much in heaven in the French countryside in early June.

Serendipity in the form of a small local guidebook led us to a private garden gem on our way to Mont Saint Michel.

I'm kind of surprised we came home at all!

Our complete collection of hundreds of French country garden images will be online in a few weeks. Until then, we hope you are enjoying summer days in a beautiful garden!

  1. I adore the pinks and greens in these photos. How I long for a garden filled with boxwood and roses. Hydrangea's and Peonies. Cleome and brilliant zinniea's. Waterfalls and armillaria. *sigh*
Better wish for a gardener too!
